TfTD – How Can I Help You?

Have you ever attempted help someone and they ended up helping you?

When I peered out the window, this morning, my neighbor, who happens to be Muslim, was trying to fix his car and I went out to see if I could help him.  He did not need my limited expertise and he ended up helping me.  He saved me close to a thousand dollars and I was blown away by it.  I was about to buy a new water-heater when he told me that he was having the same problem.  The gas company concluded that it was a gas-pressure problem.

I was blown away.  Our Church is exploring and planning how we can carry the Gospel to people in practical ways that reach them where the need is.  This morning’s experience confirms how transformative missionary activities can be.

It is a simple question.  “How can I help you.”

  1. This is an outstanding example of how we are our brother’s keeper and many times, as you said, our help comes from those we are attempting to help! The teacher becomes the student and the teacher appears when the student is ready!

    Thanks for sharing😊
