TfTD – Racism: You’re Fired. Godliness: You’re Hired

Racism and Other Forms of Ungodliness

It is time to fire racism. It does not please God. Jesus said:

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’ (Matt. 7:21-23)

We must fire racism and hire godliness.

Godliness: You’re Hired!

Let me be clear. We cannot hire God to do our bidding. He hires us to do His and He wants to hire us. We cannot hire Him but when we are saved we are called employ behaviors that please God. Hence, Godliness, you’re hired! Hallelujah! And the results of employing new behaviors are spelled out in Galatians 5:22-23, which says:

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.“
