Yes. God and I have an understanding. I am constantly aware of His presence. Yesterday, somebody drove my car. I let them drive it because I love them. But when I got in the car this morning to go for a quick run I found an open container in the car. And God knows that cleaning my car is among my least favorite things to do, so my solution is not to mess it up. It’s a small thing and I did not make a bit thing of it. So what did I do?
I started to pick up the can and throw it out the window but here is why I did not do it.

I am constantly aware of the presence of God in my life. And He says that we will have to give an account of every deed that is done in the body whether it be good or evil according to 2 Cor. 5:10.
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.”

So what did I do? I waited until I arrived at the jogging area, walked over to the trash can and tossed the can inside. That’s the way I role.
The Practical Thought
The practical thought is that when we are constantly aware of God’s presence, it effects things that seem trivial but have very profound consequences. because they say so much about who we are. I could have tossed the can in the street and nobody would have seen it. It was early morning. But Psalm 139:9&10 says:
“9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.”
This may seem trivial to some, but God and I have a special understanding, and I want to thank Him for His constant presence. But more importantly, I thank Him for my awareness of His constance presence.
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me.”

Yes. You are so right. And I loved the very succinct way that you put it.
