A Good Church

“A vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing and appealing to him, and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” (Acts 16:9)

There is nothing like a good Church.  In Acts 16:9 Paul received a simple request from a man of Macedonia who asked Paul to come to Macedonia and help them.  And what did Paul do?  He went into that region of the world and organized churches.  A church is a community, i.e., a supportive community.  Of course it is much more than a community, but it is a community. Evidently, Paul felt that the best way to help anybody is to get them in a good church fellowship.

There is nothing like a good church where people behave like family.  It is not a place where people go to perform as if they are on, “The Voice” or “American Idol”.   Of course people are encouraged to use the talents and gifts that they have been given, but it is not a performance. It is not a place where people fuss, gossip, and manipulate others.  A good church is a place where people who need support can find it.
I love my church and I think we have a good one.
