TfTD – What the World Needs Now – Reposting

As I finished my jog around the lake, I was leisurely walking and passionately thanking God that the jogging was over. WHEW! During this walk, a thought came to me.  It was about the opportunity that this day presents to each of us to spread love. The thought went something like this:

“It is easy to love those who are lovable and those who have behaved in especially kind ways to us. There probably won’t be many stars in our crown for that.  However, if we are genuinely interested in spreading the love of our Savior, the test is to spread it to those who hurt us. The best example that we have of that is the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for those who hurt Him. We have the opportunity to spread love to those who cut us off on the road, those who smack us with their shoulder bags on the subway and don’t excuse themselves, those who criticize us and refuse to support us. There must be some stars in our crown for that. Love is forgiving one another. It is having patience with one another. It is standing in the gap for one another. GREAT OPP. LORD! THANK YOU FOR IT. Jesus radiated that kind of love everywhere He went.  Hmmmm!
