TfTD – COVID-19

After my morning jog, I walked along the path.  It is usually sprinkled with a person or two as they head inside the buildng to do some exercising. The building was closed. Only a few cars were in the parking lot. The coronavirus, which started out in Wuhan, China just 3 weeks ago, had quickly spread around the globe.  It has reached our doorsteps.  I stood at my car thinking, “Wouldn’t it be nice, if the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ would spread as quickly and as thoroughly as the coronavirus?” The virus has changed a lot of behaviors. If people would hear the Word, repent and believe in the Lord and follow Him, that would change a lot of behaviors even more drastically.  It’s a thought.  Jesus said,

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.”

  1. An excellent, thought-provoking post. I share your sentiments, exactly.
It is almost warm enough for me to go outside to continue my jogging.
Working on a treadmill has been tedious for me.
    Very nice, dramatic picture.
    Thanks, Perry. 😊

    1. I would respond with two things. Back in, I suppose 2010, I spent two weeks in Wuhan, and other than being hot, it was quite a nice place in so far as crowded cities go. Second, years ago we bought a treadmill for the house and I observed two things about the one we bought. First, it made me worry about the electricity consumption, and second, the treadmill had a track that was probably 6 to 8 inches narrower than the ones that you find in the gym and 6 to 8 inches makes a big difference especially when you get tired. But I do get your point because I can imagine that it can get very, very cold where you are.
