TfTD – Persistence

I drew this picture. It is a picture of my homestead. Jerry Lebo, “The Sixty-Minute Artist,” guided me in drawing it. http://sixtyminuteartist.blogspot.com. I grew up in this house, with this out-house just a few feet away on the right, flanked by the bridge that we walked across in order to get to town. The little black triangular spot is the pile of coal that we used to heat our house in the winter.

The connection of this picture with my thought for today is that this is where I learned the lesson about seasons. There is a time when things blossom. Galatians 6:9 encourages us not to give up on the good that we are trying to do because in due season we will reap the rewards of the good that we try to do.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
