Lesson 1: You win some you lose some. We are going to do the same thing in life. We are going to win some and lose some. But we should take a page out of the Redskins playbook. Even when you lose; keep playing.
Lesson 2: No one loses who has done their best. No matter what the scores say, if you did your best, you did not lose. In life, after you have done you best and the scores do not come out the way you want them to, do not brood over it. Do your best and leave the results to God Almighty.
Lesson 3: Ultimately I believe that if we are not in Christ we are on the losing side. The Bible says:
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36)
Yesterday’s game between the Redkins and Falcons opens up the door for some very teachable moments, especially to the younger generation.
