I Get It

Psalm 107:2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary.

God redeems men from trouble.

Notice that in Verses 3-5 they went everywhere and it is a no-brainer that they were looking for relief from their trouble and they could not find it.

And gathered from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. They wandered in the wilderness in a [b]desert region; they did not find a way to an inhabited city. They were hungry and thirsty; their soul fainted within them.

He redeems those who turn to Him.

In Verse 6 that they they cried unto the Lord and He delivered them, not in their distresses, but out of their distresses. I like the fact that He delivered them out and not in their distresses. That ought to inspire praise and worship.

I get it.

I get it that people don’t go to church because they do not see authenticity inside the walls of the church. They are not looking for perfect churches. They are looking for places where the real outweighs the unreal, places where they can feel more Godliness and less Godlessness in the church. If this cannot be found then perhaps it is time to organize a church where God is the order of the day. Life Step Baptist did it and we are happy and you are welcome to join us. In fact, if you are in the general vicinity, we want to see you. God bless.
