TfTD on Positives and Negatives

I have no scripture for this but I have observed that the one time that negative people are positive is when they are affirming someone else in their negativity.

Think about it.

Ok. I will give one of thousands of examples.

I observed that there are radio talk shows that spew hatred of people of other races and ideologies. They are very negative. Their shows are successful because they have tapped into a very large audience of people who have the same hatred and they affirm people in their hatreds, biases and negativities.

Alternatively, I study the life of Jesus. He is my idol, my role model, my God and my Savior because I want to love what He love, as well as whom He loves, and I want to hate what He hates. God loved the world, according to John 3:16. Ok, so I do have a Scripture. There it is:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everylasting life.”

He even loved haters; and I think He did it because He knows that if anything can change a life, it would be the love of God.

Today, I wish to affirm those who have the God, who are saved, born again, or whatever you want to call it, to go out and spread that love that you received when you got saved. The world is so negative and they need it. We need to love people beyond themselves.

Just within the past couple of days I have been shot through with so many arrows that it just ain’t funny. I know that, “ain’t” is an improper word, but when I feel something this deep, I go back to my native tongue, so it just ain’t funny. I said that to say that people have all the negativities of hell in them and we need to love it out of them. So, today, I want to affirm you in your quest for love, and if you feel so compelled, take a minute and stop and pray for all who want to spread the love of God because the truth is, “We need it.”

God bless you and I love you.

  1. I don’t always get a chance to read the TfTD but today I did and as always, it spoke to me. Thanks Uncle Perry!
