Perhaps you are at a place in your life where you feel you need a special Word from God. Maybe you are concerned about your Church and it’s direction. Perhaps you are concerned about personal finances, a co-worker or a loved one.
I was never more pleased when my brother who attends our Conference Call Bible Study said what he said during the Bible Study. Here is the quote:
“We need some preachers who are willing to get down into the history of these Scriptures and who are more focused on tracing the original meaning of these words and sentences because everybody preaches the same Scripture and comes up with different interpretations.”
It thrills my heart to have people who are that serious about wanting to know God’s Word and because of his interest I have determined to do an even better job at searching out those details. My brother later called me about a Bible that he wants to purchase and I recommended this one for him telling him that I almost never prepare to teach a Bible Study without having consulted the MacArthur Study Bible.
This particular Study Bible does not focus on entertaining but illuminating the one who seeks greater knowledge of God’s Word.
Yes, there are other good ones but this one is among the best that I have used thus far. God bless.
