Things Do Work Out

I was thinking that things do work out if we do the right things.

I committed myself to helping someone who requested it.  I needed to use my car to help them.  My car is old.  What they did not know is that my 1998 Ford Taurus did not pass inspection and was in the shop for repairs and my wife needed the other car to go to work.  Thank God for another car.

Anyway, I decided I would rent a car at my own expense and not make it known to them.  I was just happy to help.  A couple of days ago they came to me and said, “We found out that we don’t need you to be there, and thanks for all of your support.”  It seemed to be another one of God’s many ways of saying to me that things do work out if we do the right things.  Spike Lee wrote an entire movie on it.
